Poem: The Messy Stuff

The Messy Stuff – 11/21/2013

how describe the
indescribable
inconceivable
uncontrivable
MESS
of love and abundance
we call human existence

you gotta just keep sweeping up the messy stuff
it’s troublesome and cumbersome
for i succumb to the strum
ho-hum
drum

the curriculum for equilibrium causes a
wearisome pandemonium in my cranium
but there will be no more “iums”
on this page
because i’m gonna take it in another

direction

a new projection into perfection
section it off
affection
rejection
affection
erection
retrospection
creation leads to inspiration
inspiration leads to masturbation
ya know
all that male/female stuffs

where does all the energy go?
the capillary is arbitrary
for it is customary to connect first through the pulmonary

when we connect it is a multi-dimensional kaleidoscope if images
of Life
It’s graphic: Choreo, Cinema, Chiro, Cosmo, Helio -
graphic
autobiographic
a timeless story
romantic, frantic, transatlantic
a pyromantic dance
where we circle around and around
up and down

shhhhhhhh
we don’t want to wake the sleeping serpent
for she is a devilish one
abracadabra
she’ll light up the candelabra
with a snap of her fingers

she has an addiction to fiction
and it has been know to cause the
infliction of friction
despite her desire for benediction
and
the release of restriction

what?
so you say you don’t know where to go from here?
but you have another page to write
grab the Book of Rhymes and see what she has to say about that…

if we all know
The Secret
it could be a volcanic, tyrannic
worship of the satanic
Germanic holocaustistic
don’t you remember the Titanic?
they forgot is was Oceanic
botanic
Messianic

O yeah, i said it
there’s something to that
“Jesus Story”
so we should all just
SIT UP STRAIGHT
and pay attention.

he was an ascendent, transcendent
he wore a crystal pendant
he is your descendant
did you get that?
he is YOUR descendant.

well now
what do you know
an unexpected turn of events
the poet becomes the mystic
when she puts down her defense.

remember
you are the thought you sought
Juggernaut, Astronaut
the Truth was the afterthought
but look what the journey taught
